IAA, the Irises at the Getty museum is one of my all-time favorite paintings (I have a poster of it hanging at my workplace). You compassionately get to the heart of this work of art (and the artist) with this monoku. I recommend the film "Loving Vincent" to any who have affection for Van Gogh and his art... it is simply breathtaking. Congrats for your POTD my friend, and best wishes in the contest ~ John

Aha, it was you S.V. I have to thank for that and all of your awesome knowledge about Vincent! I loved “At Eternity's Gate” biographical drama film about the final years of painter Vincent van Gogh's life. The film dramatizes the controversial theory put forward by van Gogh biographers.
