Inviting Ocean

Feeling the sand through my toes My hair is damp,my body glows My face is flushed with seaside air I am delighted to be here I gaze along looking for shells as I descend down to the waters swells I try to not feel the cold water on my feet My body's cold but my spirit's warm My hair is damp,my body glows This is a high that will never be beat the waves are rough as my anticipation grows I feel the waves wash over me My body's numb, my mind at peace My head is clear, my body beat My hair is damp, my body glows This is a thrill I must repeat
