Invictus

Heed then dear heart and soul, Love frames fine wit most whole. Do I dare to live with zest? Dare to do my sure best. When pain and strife confront, Bear troubles that transplant. Look to wise ways I know, To live in-sync with flow. Journey through life's quagmire, Bear with each blazing fire. Rise above the petty spree, Watch my soul now set free. Bear with terrible pain, Cast my fest once again. When shadows usher fear, Live boldly brave with cheer. When heavy burdens hurt, Rise from the muddy dirt. Thus, I live my own way, Bear burdens through each day. If I can do these things, Blessings flood my sure fling. For I command my life, Conquer and master strife. Thus I journey so far, Find my way through the stars. Leon Enriquez 03 October 2017 Singapore
