Why can’t thoughts running circles in my mind always be peaceful, decent, and refined? Intrusive thoughts that make me feel ashamed may settle in, and youth cannot be blamed, for I am well beyond my “best by” date! Though I’m past seventy, it’s not too late to notice men, those easy on the eyes, the single ones, like me. I fantasize about . . . these daydreams lead to red-faced sighs.
