Intrude

Another year Without the things most hold dear No AC to cool me down None of the comforts of town No switch to turn on a light During the night Everywhere is home To those that roam No roof over my head Living off the knowledge you have been feed Lucky if I find a bed Under a tree For all to see Another statistic walking around Sleeping on the ground Never knowing where next I will be bound I find That I just don't mind The way I live The little I have to give Share with those that have less Life is hard I confess Maybe I'm still a priest at heart From love I can't part Lift their sad away Make their day Then I'm walking past Nothing last Back to Solitude Didn't mean to intrude

I see pictures of people on the street living this. Nice way to write about it.
