Into the Woods
INTO THE WOODS
Into the woods, I stepped one day,
And found myself 'mong trees
With rustling leaves, a mocking jay
Was whistling with the breeze;
Into the woods, deeper I went,
And found myself 'mong rocks
With verdant moss, a striking scent
Was mingling with green stalks;
Into the woods, I slowly strode,
And found myself 'mong shade
With bright sunlight peeping through holed
Gaps in the gleaming glade;
Into the woods, do come with me,
Let's saunter through the trees,
Come, let's refresh our minds busy
Amidst the birds and bees.
