NOTE:  I had found a stunning picture of a table overlooking the sea up on a hill (like an outdoor cafe table) with beautiful flowered bushes in the foreground and the town, sky and water in the background. I based my poem around this, with the intent to show the picture. Now no matter how many times I try, I simply cannot find that same picture among beautiful summer images on google! So you will just have to imagine it.

I sit at a small table outside a café. Along a low orange wall, rows and rows of flowered bushes decorate the foreground of a breathtaking scene. Out to a horizon where sea meets sky is endless blue. I inhale perfect beauty! Fine wine and good food are on the way. Here in the sun I will revel in the fragrance of the red roses and the freshness of the air. A butterfly alights nearby me. How simple a thing yet how divine. Fly, Butterfly - Fly out to the bay! I wish to see how long I may keep you In my sight before you vanish into the blue. I sometimes gaze at the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and sometimes the Pacific Ocean. I live near the East River - it is a great place to walk to. Fine wine and good food! well, probably would have green tea instead of wine. Did you know wine is part of the Jewish religion? Peace & Love Matthew Anish

You've certainly gave the not only beautiful visual of your missing table, yet the beauty surrounding your glorious moment in time! I state that you gave a beautiful visual of the table when you did not describe it in this write, yet I could not keep from visualizing it since you engrossed us with its true...*sm...much love girlie, james

This sounds like a Van Gogh cafe scene until you include the butterfly, a wonderful sensitive image that gives the poem lovely life. Love it, love it, love it. daver
