I suddenly had to urge to read some old poems of yours, not really sure why..but, anyway, you caught my eye with this haiku. Absolutely fabulous and beautiful too! The image in my head is so vanilla right now! The beauty of the day fading into a vanilla sky!!! This was great!!! A favorite.

I have alot of respect for Rosa Parks and the teens that had the courage to buck the system and took the abuse dished out by the police. I am glad that I did not have to put up with alot of racial issues growing up. Thanks to Lincoln, MLK etc but I disagree with MLK putting those teens in harms way for his American dream. From what I have read that is the way it looks. His arrest was used as a political pawn it appears. Does the end justify the means? we all have to judge for ourselves.
