Inside My Head

You do wonder about what goes on inside my head Should I tell you about it, would you see me as weird Pray, do tell me For what goes on in my head Is worthy of being a state secret, a matter I let remain a huge mystery! But come, tonight, I do feel light and jovial I shall tell you of my microcosm's tale Indeed I shall; come, see you, inside my head does be a world A world made of a King and a Queen A King being my own muse, and a Queen being me, a poet, always so serene! In love is this King with her Queen In love they have been with each other, since creation was not yet aged sixteen In love to such an extent that even separation does not matter That even demons fail in their attempt to seduce one or the other In love so much that the whole of creation only wishes them to be together Inside my head, does be an eternal love story Why, being made of goodness and beauty I can only write lines and lines of how does the story unfold itself Each day, through blessings and renewed faith Each day, through blessings and submissive faith indeed Inside my head, do be not worries of the mundane See you, these are to be bothered only on the Earthen plane A plane we shall leave, one day, once and for all Remaining shall be our hopes, our faith, the calls of our soul So, inside my head, does be what I do consider as my world, the one ideal! Yes, inside my head, does be the world as I want it to be With my muse, my king, the one being made of greatest mystery Inside my head, does be me, in spirit form Inside my head, I do rule my own kingdom Yes, yes, inside my head, I do live my own dreamlike life! 13 September 2015 For Contest Inside my Head Sponsored by John Lawless
