Inner View
Sitting in Thy Presence I am in the state of awe
Your Creation so immense and yet to me you call
As i ponder Your Name reflecting upon myself
I sit here in shame so realizing my moral health
As I sing Your Name and call upon Your Grace
You who took all my blame crucified in disgrace
As i look out into the sea as it meets Your sky
The One who set me free, all Glory upon High
My feet firmly in the sand my eyes gaze Your Glory
Resting firmly in Your Hand so amazed at Your Story
In the dead of darkness You redeemed my lost soul
What seemed a mess now seems such a special role
Oh! Your Joy in my heart how it lifts me ever above
So thankful to be a part of Your Glorious Father's Love
I'll never stop thanking You, praising Your Holy Name
No matter the view, Your Salvation I will always claim
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
not by works, so that no one can boast.
