I am not afraid of death, extinction, or eternal night as once already, I was at the gates of Heaven but they would not open for me it was not my time I heard my beloved ones calling calling out my name, beckoning, summoning me but I awoke from this dream still part of the earthly realm confused and breathing and still within life My journey has been chapters of a book some pages so beautiful, full of happiness and delight some of anguish, grief, deep sadness and sorrow but each one unique, each one a story told And when my time does come I will miss walks in forests lush and rippling waters lovely birds singing in the tangled trees the kiss of snowflakes on my face in winter crunching leaves beneath my feet I will not regret a moment for even the saddest experience is part of living but there is peace beyond the gate . . .
