Indian Skies
Indian Skies
The pale Indian yellow skies
Peek through black branches, to my eyes
Soft colors begin the new day
Peace unfolds, with what comes my way
The cold air wakes me, as I see
Everything granted to me
Grateful for each breath that I take
Looking forward to what I make
It may be simple, it’s okay
The simplest things are here to stay
I embrace the time daylight brings
Excited to hear all that sings!
