Independence

In the land where dreams took flight, A nation born with fiery might, India's struggle, fierce and grand, Led by heroes who took a stand. Through the depths of oppression's reign, The spirit of freedom would sustain, From the voices of countless souls, A revolution began to unfold. Gandhi, the beacon of peaceful resistance, Inspired hearts, ignited persistence, With nonviolence as his sacred creed, He sowed the seeds of India's freed. Salt March and Dandi's mighty shore, Symbols of defiance, forevermore, They marched with courage, hand in hand, United for a liberated land. The tricolor flag, saffron, white, and green, A symbol of unity, vibrant and serene, The wheel of progress, spinning bright, A vision of hope, a guiding light. On the midnight hour, destiny unfurled, August 15th, a nation's proud world, India emerged from the shackles of yore, To soar on wings of freedom's lore. But independence was just the start, A journey to mend a fractured heart, To build a nation where all could thrive, In unity, diversity would survive. Through challenges faced, and battles won, India's spirit continued to strengthen on, From the fields of progress to heights unknown, A nation's growth, a story to be shown. On this day, we honor those who fought, Their sacrifices, lessons dearly taught, We cherish the gift of liberty's embrace, And strive to uphold India's grace. So, let us celebrate this sacred day, In unity, let our voices sway, For Indian independence, we stand tall, A nation's pride, forever enthrall.
