Indecent Warfare
Happiness and peace once more,
moratorium on war.
If men agree.
No more bullets no more gore.
Costs we save could feed the poor.
Grand that would be.
Children silently implore,
stop the bombs that they abhor,
from sea to sea.
Children should not have to flee
from each unmanned drone they see.
They’re in the way.
Push a button have some tea,
there’s no danger here for me,
just one more day.
The results I do not see
when done so efficiently.
Don’t have to pay.
Fate of Earth is ours to weigh,
from wars fought the modern way,
far from the site.
Richer nations rule the day,
lesser ones are in the fray.
Might makes it right.
If to other gods they pray,
blow them up without delay.
Science is might.
