In your Own Eyes
The days go by and yet the timer continues to begin and end, with every moment that passes bleeding you dry. The surge of chaos brings doubt to your mind, the body that allows us to move around becomes still like the frozen lakes on a cold night. Curiosity flows, but acceptance of a version of yourself you never wanted to know starts confusing the rhythm of your life. Understanding that we only get one chance in this form and the choices we make play a role, which never fail to show with the events that occur as our impulse reaction takes control; for the truth can tell no lies; just as evil and good are one and the same, and often misunderstood, forced to hide within a disguise. The black sheep in a family of billions, so close to each other but never receiving a hug from another. Lost in a circle, the snow globe of our own false terror and hope; fighting just to stay alive when all we have to do is look deeply into our own eyes. A soul that is immoral, a part of us that will never die. Only when the surrounding ground becomes still can we fully connect with the intuition that will guide us from this phase, into the next. Be patient with yourself, know that you are enough, the warriors planted into a battle that can be won. Change your perception and watch the undone become one.
