In the silence of the evening, when shadows dance on the walls of my soul
In the silence of the evening, when shadows dance on the walls of my soul
In the silence of the evening, when shadows dance on the walls of my soul like spirits of a lost dream,
I let myself be carried by a river of thoughts, searching for your hidden smile, a diamond in the moonlight,
Not the one you wear as a mask for the world, but that fleeting one that escapes when you think no one is watching,
I see your eyes soften and become gentle oceans when you explain things to me, and I wonder how a grown man
Can seem like a wanderer, asking questions like sunbeams seeking to understand the shadow.
I intentionally forget the treasures of the mind, just so you can bring them to life again with your velvet voice,
To feel what it's like to be the beacon sought by the one who longs for me,
And in your delicate gestures, I find a caress of light, a corner of clear sky,
In my vulnerability, I discover how your angel wings embrace my weaknesses,
With a tenderness that turns every wound into a lotus flower floating on calm waters.
Perhaps it's madness to lose myself in this search of you, a labyrinth of stars and unfulfilled dreams,
But in this helplessness, I find peace, for in you, need becomes a symphony of silence,
And if I'm honest, I never wanted to be the one who depends on someone else,
But once you appeared, the need for you is like a butterfly's wing touching my soul,
Transforming weakness into release, and fear into a new dawn of hope.
Thus, in every memory and small forgetfulness, hides the desire to feel you close,
To be embraced by the calm you bring, like a field of lavender under the night sky.
