In the pantomime of pretend prose, the moon dances on lonely nights. Before the lights go out at twilight, unforgiven ice cold hearts, remain abandoned, hoping this is the end. Her eyes like Eve were deceived, by manipulative sea green serpents. Stranded on shores where time has no name, the artistry of dread, breathed in poetic chills, inhaling life, exhaling pain like dolent daisies. Concealing metaphors of dying embers, behind an avalanche of emotions, she anticipated the rebirth of an artist, by an art nearing the opposite side of yearnings, because in the deepest chasm of poetic love, an alliteration of antithesis attracts affection. I was not as naive as Adam, searching for heartbeats from heaven, knowing that is how you ruin a poet. An empathic spirit ignites pens full of fire, burning the strings of poetic puppets - the greatest gift of entrancement. Rumi taught me the universe is infinite, and so am I, so I knew I would meet my muse, like stars greet the moon in a meadow of miracles. As roaming romance conjured my dream's horizon. Her name always echoed in the silence of quiet nights. An empress without an emperor in a crumbling palace, yearning to blossom in an epodic flower field. Her seldom smile was as radiant as the golden orb. Despite ghosts hiding in the shadow of sunlight, mystical silver spirits were summoning me to her abode. Her misspelt phrases accidentally fell on my page. I found her burying her frozen quill under six feet of snow, with a withered heart reliving a winter wonder nightmare, constantly bleeding pearls in a silage of tears, cursing her tormented tongue. Her winter kisses were as tender as butterfly snowflakes, but at first, her rage slashed at my wrists, drowning me in her obsidian grieving seas, but my soul is like a seasoned samurai full of scars. I always believed small steps lead to great places, and I would kiss her sorrows goodbye. Upon realisation there's no blood in my veins, only poetry, together we portrayed pastel coloured sunsets, illuminating a celestial canopy of light, sowing trees of forgiveness, surrounded by colourful petals, leaving behind the dark long road home. In our internal garden of Eden, there is no darkness, there is no forbidden fruit nor sinning, only an aura of love personified.

Very intriguing, interesting, - like the tone of a heart who measures its shadow beneath the fiery gaze of endless skies, stars, moon, reflections of new - yes, beneath the shadows of the sunlight. Lovely writing, as usual! God bless you friend, with love, Gina

You have rewritten love so well and upheld the standard despite hurts and hauls. Love will leave you counting the stars. I appreciate that you have made the garden story one to celebrate, to look up to and learn from. A space where genuine love can bloom. Love has so much effect on us and it is good to see that there's one person who we can alter time for if we had the chance. "I always believed small steps lead to great places, and I would kiss her sorrows goodbye." Healing from a lover's kiss.

SO, I am always left in awe of your ability to create poetic artistry with lines like "butterfly snowflakes," "stranded on shores where time has no name." The sense of the redeeming power of forgiveness is so powerful in your last stanzas. This poem takes me on a journey through betrayal and redemption through the power of love. Best wishes for the contest with this magnificent poem. Blessings!

SO, this is a wonderful love story of renewal and help among people. I really like the relationship and references you make to the Eden story and how you've modified the outcome to something we can strive for. This has a celestial and universal aura that gets me thinking about the meaning of love and life.

Dear Silent One, The depth of this penning caused my monkey mind to reread it twice. I just love the imagery of "the moon dances on lonely nights" and "breathed in poetic chills", alliteration 2, "seasoned samurai full of scars". Quite a gift for us readers on the soup. Blessings to you and that muse of yours..

"As roaming romance conjured my dream's horizon. Her name always echoed in the silence of quiet nights. An empress without an emperor in a crumbling palace, yearning to blossom in an epodic flower field." What intense feelings of love are exposed for your empress! Love is the most powerful emotion and it ignites the poetic zeal in you. "I always believed small steps lead to great places, and I would kiss her sorrows goodbye." What empathy you have for her! Wonderful poem, Silent One.

Beautiful. Your impassioned poem is a journey through a poet's mind guided by his muse/lover. It is a love story of poetry itself. In an overwhelming urge to express emotions in lyrical verse, the poet brings what is buried inside to light. There's no denying the intensity of this release. Just a different take on your marvelous poem.

Wow! Where do i begin praising this masterpiece silent one? You leave me breathless and speechless reading your romantic lines woven with galactic beams in such eloquence! Rumi really taught you well to let you see things better and to express too in ways that readers truly feel and are captivated by your poetic skills! I love every word woven , and the romance, and how descriptive it is! I especially love “ snow, with a withered heart reliving a winter wonder nightmare, constantly bleeding-“ wow for some reason, your poems show me a selfless and empathetic heart, that sees and feels others emotions deeply and is willing to lift them up and show them light amidst darkness: we all need love like that! How beautiful! A fave this is, best wishes for the contest

Beautiful luv poetry. I don't believe in "soul mates" per say nor in fate, but I understand the reference. That last stanza is sublime. Who wouldn't want to exist as two under such conditions?
