In the seat of my soul

In the seat of my soul,
Lies a broken girl,
The one who's seen too much,
The one where her palms sweat,
Her soul gone,
The ones thats scared of her past,
Because her past is too much,
Too much for her to handle
Too much for her to forget
In the seat of my soul,
Sits a little girl who wished to be saved.
To be protected
Out of reach for harm
But her soul was to take
Her soul was in the seat.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
