I have seen sorrow falling down
All around, blurring the black night
With rain where my sad thoughts can drown
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen joy in blushing hues
Caressing the music I write
In whispers of love through the blues
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen my dreams crushed by grief
Pain surpasses fragile starlight
Leaving hearts longing for relief
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen miracles pass through
Breaking the silence with daylight
Bidding the night a kind adieu
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen shadows painting hearts
In brilliant sighs of soft moonlight
Singing songs that are off the charts
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen laughter lighting souls
Playing gently with smiles so bright
Soothing hurts only God controls
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen fireflies twinkling glee
Sparking radiance with their flight
Stirring me to a bended knee
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen the glory of God
Opening hearts love can unite
Spreading hope, faith and peace abroad
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen the answer to fear
Blowing a caress to excite
Wiping away every last tear
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen reasons to give grace
Assurance all will be alright
Peace can be seen upon the face
Coloring rainbows with kindness
I have seen heaven pour out love
Love so alive it is finite
Awaking minds to things above
Coloring rainbows with kindness
