Have you ever been so lucky as to have seen in the middle of the night a kaleidoscope of butterflies? How beautiful the sight of violets, blues, black on white and the royal monarch’s hues. If you should be so fortunate, please go outside and let yourself believe there’s music in the air as the rabble flutters. Notice that the butterflies are dancing. The moonbeams shining on them can create a melody of sweet tranquility. Listen very carefully; you can hear it. Fling yourself into the night and join the throng. If you let your imagination soar, you too can be a butterfly twirling and swirling in the middle of the night when the butterflies dance to the moon’s song.

Very, very nice, beautiful, sweet, precious little poem, the variety THAT SHOULD BE PUBLISHED in a book. As always, your exceptional talent shines thru! What the heck are you doing in the bottom half of the winner's list, behind me? Perhaps you should try writing a vague, incomprehensible poem with awkward rhyming and bloated meaning that no one would read and no one, in their right mind, would publish. Ha ha, just a little humor. Have a great Christmas. Your friend, Bryan

It's been such a long time since I've been in the Soup and I'm so delighted that you are still producing such wonderful poems. The imagery and dynamism of your words captures the exquisite display of such beautiful yet fragile creatures. So glad to have found it. Regards, John.

This is beautiful, Andrea; fantasy & imagination combine to draw us readers into your world of make-believe. Hope the sponsor is captivated by the same fairy dust! ~ Regards // paul

exquisite, simply exquisite, Andrea. I loved the creativity in the situation you created...one I'd love to see...a place where a kaleidoscope of butterflies dance to the moon's song. You've beautifully captured the creative realm!! I'm faving this one so I can reread it again. Have a great Thanksgiving, Sara
