We are all grasping forward To touch and befriend with our mind The gentle and soothing words That will keep our senses attuned To the rhythm of the poem And our soul engrossed In the smooth sounds of its song And when the words in harmony Like music notes on a staff Do form a melody Thankful are we to see That words do grow and so do we
