In the Beginning God
God the one with no beginning
created all of earth without doubt
making it full of darkness and light
bringing even and morn all about
So this was the first day created
but more was done by God alone
for further five days doing His work
revealing His goodness in every bone
The Lord is the maker of everything
separated the waters from the dry
vegetables would sprout up forth
trees grew up to be really very high
Every creature God did truly make
birds, beasts, creeping things the lot
mankind did He make in His image
male and female formed the slot
The seventh day God did rest
pleased was He for all He made
heaven and earth was complete
blessed in this world man stayed
