In Search of You
walked and walked tirelessly for miles and miles
crossing vast dales and steep soaring mountains,
in search of you, my beloved, found you at last..
How did I not know where my true love was!
we met at untainted dawn of life
when we hardly recognized the passion
between two souls, but the day you left,
my world broke down as sandcastles on a sea-shore,
I was a crushed, forlorn, broken-winged bird,
you tip-toed softly in my dreams,
your angelic face shone like a shimmering star in obscurity.
endless journey of love…in summer, in winter,
my eternal quest continued even when it rained incessantly..
stormy rough nights, the blustery wind
whooshed and howled, I was in ceaseless pain.
All my life I walked and walked tirelessly for you,
miles and miles of vast dales and steep soaring mountains,
You are finally with me, my life at harmony
How did I not know where my true love was!
