Notes About The Poem

In Memory of Connie,

A relatively new “Souper”, I didn’t personally know Connie.  It was through poetry I  made a dear friend.  I admired her profound poems, filled with passion and timeless grace.  A published collection of her work, keeping her eloquent wisdom alive for perpetuity would be a treasure, for humankind.

Connie possessed a warm gift, not only in her own writing, but her comments on my work revealed a reflection, of who she was: incredible, beautiful, magnificent, romantic, emotionally moving, possessing strength.

In Memory of Connie

her poetic gifts
			   soulful reflections of heart ~
			          faded not in death
