In memory, not myth
For let me be remebered
Not cherished, loved, adored
God let me be remebered
Despite all of my flaws
Let me not be an angle
In the eyes of the world
Let me not be diluted
By the demise that was hurled
From exaggeration set me free
Let my wit travel beyond me
How my soul bleeds in poetry
How fiery I was when angry
Let my essence be known
In flower patterned clothes
In flields and Meadows
In cherry red and pink tones
In self hug and tight hugs
In angry tears, friendly hair tugs
In soft songs and jazz tunes
In brown eyes glittering like sand dunes
In hard work and dedication
In the love for the books of fiction
In the soft breeze of the summer
In being nice to a new comer
Let me be remember and not idealized
For all I once was and will be
For the trees near my tomb
Would whisper in the wind
The story of the girl who resides within
