In Honor of the Rose

In a form called Julyme I sit down to compose a little tribute done in rhyme in honor of my favorite flower. Grace-filled is she in her repose: love’s symbol throughout time - sweet, lovely, steadfast rose. Andrea, your lovely words bring honor to the beauty of the rose. We have over thrity rose bushes. Their fragrance blooms and color are a blessing everyday. Even after being pruned, their shapes are artistic sculptures. Congratulations on your win!

I like this one and also the rose. Their fragrance though so light lingers in the air. My husband planted two knockout roses out front and the deer are eating them as fast as they put on new growth so the deer love them as well. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara
