In God's Presence
In God's Presence
By: Tom Wright

The time has come for me to cross,
beyond that great divide.
Weep not loved ones for my loss,
for I'm now at Jesus side.
If memories of our life were good,
recall these now in laughter.
Where I am now someday you should,
at death, be following after.
My pain now gone and last race run,
let Heaven's bells now ring.
For now I am basking in, God's, Son,
so let your hearts now sing.
May, God, comfort you on this day,
as my body penetrates the ground.
Be thankful I made time to pray,
that my soul was Heaven bound.
