In Case You Wondered

you won't see me scream
you won't see me angry
i won't stomp my feet
i won't raise my voice

just because there's no drama
don't think everything's ok

stick around
you haven't seen
my fifty shades of grey

when i'm disappointed or unimpressed
i can run the whole gamut
in every shade and every hue

if i was happy
you would know
if things were ok
you would know

FJ Thomas February 25, 2023 at 7:29 PM I appreciate this Line. Growing up we did not express any unhappiness, you 'shut up and dealt with it.' I suppose I never changed from that approach. Mystic Rose Rose January 25, 2023 at 4:09 PM Some people reek havoc when they are not happy making others miserable, others keep to themselves, I prefer the latter to keep to myself when things are not right, I sort it out on my own, as much as possible, a very human approach to life, I think, thank you for sharing your poem today.
