Impromptu
the sun was out
we were smiling
my smile unusually
bigger than her's
we were sipping
lemonade while
my mind was slipping
towards myself
though she hiked
though she camped
she had never seen
snow so wouldn't
know because
i nevered lied
outside of what
was to become
now it was now
that i said dear
we must undress
completely in
order that we
can climb in
one sleeping bag
so that we can
feel and feed
off each other's
body heat
i'm coming down
with
a case
of Spring
hyperthermia
