And yet from these dreams come the light into the darkness of others that hide their pain. Thank you, Michael

Hi Michael Outstanding write! Many vets are feeling this as deeply as your words touch my heart. Very thought provoking. I know you are feeling the sentiments conveyed here too. I missed you. Hope you're feeling better these days. I'm feeling a lot better now that I'm recovering from surgery. Thanks for yourcomments on my latest Serenity's High. You're very special and inspiring to us all here. Thanks for being you. Many blessings to you and yours. Take care hun. Love Light Truth Patricia

reminds me of Morgan Freeman's character in Shawshank Redemption, he said something close to this, a man in prison is left only with his thoughts and night time can be the hardest time done. In your case there is no prison anymore, only the thoughts, not that that makes it any better really...hope your recovery's going well Mike.

Dark dreams of prisons Michael, of which there are many. I hope you are well on the way to recovery.

Hi Michael, you can't find success on the far side of failure, if you don't ever make the mistake to begin with. let it go - it has been forgiven. -AA

So much said in just three lines. Much for the reader to ponder here. I hope you get a date for your surgery soon. Waiting is hard. Thank you for your kind words on my poem. Best wishes. Karen

I feel the richness of this poem. It comes from someone who knows deep pain . Thanks for your comment on my poem about Mothers. I too lost my mother at 15 months and I can't remember her but I have this internal thing that I know stems from the longing that I had as a child for her. Sara
