Important Me I drive a bright car. It is not a lemon but it has the same color. I don’t understand, why the man laughed, as I drove it off the lot. I should go back… and punch him. It smells just right, no one but me… has been behind the wheel. I deserve it. I am the man. I am the husband. I make the money. I do all the work, and… I am head of the house. It is bright yellow, did I say? Racing… black stripes, Bumble Bee watch out, drag you anytime. I know that I would win, I have already. I am fast, I am furious. I can do all things, in my two doors. I can leave my family behind. I can cry about doing things I must, and then stop doing them at all. I can do without “them”. I don’t need “them”. Who cares… if they need me!

WOW another heavy hearted poem Ann. At the beginning I was reminded of my first car that took me everywhere. 2 times around the USA. A yellow Chevy hatchback. But at the beginning of this poem I thought about an old joke where a snail buys a suped up racing car, and as ge, or she, tears out of the parking lot; the salesman says, "Look at that s car go" haha. But then your ending took any memories or humor out of my head. Very heavy words Ann. Thanks.

lol... I think I remember the joke... hehe... yes, this one is a little on the sad side. I am watching it unfold personally and close up. It is so sad, and not a single story... there are so many... wow... I love your joke way better. Have the very nicest day. Ann
