Mark 9:41 “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.” I’ve never housed a homeless person I’ve never been that brave – But, oh how I’ve longed to show others the grace, the love, the One who saves! I’ve never worked in a shelter or fed someone on the street – but, oh how I need to let others see the Jesus living inside of me! I’ve never cradled an orphan in my arms I’ve never adopted a lonely soul – But, oh how I pray for those who’re hurting with faith that He will make a way! I’ve never been the best Christian I didn’t do everything that I could have I didn’t say everything that I should have But, oh how I love the man who hung on that cross… the One who took away my darkness and lit up my heart with faith and peace, filled my life with grace and mercy, assured me that, despite all my fears – all the times I’ve failed Him…. He still loves me and His love is a fire burning inside me, reminding me whatever comes – despite all the worst I know the One who will, one day, come back – Oh, dear Jesus, I’m waiting for that moment when I’ll see for myself – the nail scared hands and feet, the beauty of such grace, such peace… the wonder of a light that never fades or dims, a light that reveals the love that lives on through eternity!

small acts of kindness suffice, Gina, smile at a stranger, overpay the vegetable vendor, blow a kiss at the trees, lay out a water dish for birds in the blistering summer heat, uplift the spirit of neighbours, nod with patient understanding when someone grabs your car parking slot …
