I'M Tired

the entry below is dedicated to anyone living with a heavy heart


"I'm tired"

I'm tired but its ok
with stressful obstacles
the well still runs
the sun still shines

I've been held captive
pinned to emotional walls
betrayed repeatedly over time
frozen by life and living souls

despite miles to go
despite miles to grow
captivity is unleashed
beyond the far and wide

with a beating heart I breathe
by grace of God and his love
by grace of music and its healing
I'm tired but its ok
