I'M Sorry
I'm sorry is all I can say
And I wish I could have kept it away
But it got through anyway
I'm sorry that it ended like this
And I can tell you that I'll miss
You in that beautiful white dress
As you climbed with tears in your eyes
And said your final goodbyes
I started to scream terrified cries
You looked me squarely in my face,
Disregarding the time and place
And smiled one more time in this place
I tried to run for you and grab you
But you slipped off the edge and I knew
That at last you finally flew
Like you had always wanted to,
This place forever out of view,
Your sadness at last through
