I’m Not THAT stupid

Oh lover boy whom I’ve yet to meet Yet know as a soul so close to me In spirit I hear it What you wish for is but a dream You want a wife to share life To share delights of Warm bed for cold nights But why are you saying Stupid stuff like come live with me??? I’m not and what I’m hearing Is a man fearing Having cake but hoping to eat it before wedding day Do I seriously look that dumb Where do you find nerve To utter such words As if even birds like geese Mate for life geesh No my way is simple I will let you down so gentle You’ll never know how close You came to being insanely Happy with me as your wifey

Dear Karen, As I read your poem, I smiled and said she is one of the smartest people I know. I want her to be one of my best friends. You see the hidden agendas and the emotional drives that only seek immediate gratifications. Keep writing my dear friend and speaking the truth! - Blessings, Daniel
