An intimate moment born of passion,
a kiss morphs into a fantasy dream.
And fueling feelings of elation,
love wrestles my heart into submission.
I feel led, perchance manipulated,
yet, not leery of our destination.
For like a fragrant flower in full bloom,
your heart's baited with the nectar of hope.
Your eyes, like pools of liquid emeralds,
peer into the breadth and depth of my soul.
And much like Romeo and Juliet,
we believe true love will last forever.
Igniting explosive feelings, desire
is aroused by the magic of our kiss.
And as love takes us beyond ecstasy
to euphoric bliss, we do not resist.
