I'Ll Need Time

I'll need time to get you off my mind So I may be in touch with you Perhaps I'll ask too much of you; So today, help me find my way Till I get used to losing you Let me keep on using you. I'll get by, but no matter how hard I try There will be times I need to call To wipe away the tears that fall So what I mean to do, is lean on you Till my broken heart can know That I can finally let you go. Till then the world will keep on turning The leaves will fall and ice will melt No matter how my heart is burning No matter how it is I felt; So when the sun comes up again, I'll find a way to deal with pain Then I will know how to go. With kind collaboration from Robert Johnson.

Separation, be it temporary or permanent, is never easy... the best partner will sympathize, and give you all the time you need. God bless... Keith

Till then the world will keep on turning. No matter how your heart is burning. The leaves will fall and the ice will melt. And it will not matter how you felt. So when the sun comes up again. You'll find your way with your magic pen. It's Godly kindness to help you know. Which path to take and where to go.

This is very touching and intensely emotional write. It seems to be a sequel to the story you told in "time to go".

An emotive poem, which reminds me of that great Tammy Wynette song, "Till I Can Make It On My Own." You can't beat a good old weepy. Nicely articulated. xoxo Robert.

A wistful smile upon me as I read this-- sometimes it seems that time stretches out forever to me....but yes, I guess it eventually happens, that letting go--- a very touching write :)

Evokes heartache well. I hope it's just poetry and not biography.
