If You Pull a Long Face - Part Three - Continued

IF YOU PULL A LONG FACE - Part III IF you pull a long face As long as two thousand years, you say Think someone looked after your place Now is he the one who must the price pay Now that you pull a long face Just because you lost your way Why shouldn't someone take your place For you're bound to lose face anyway Now if you pull a long face Forced, as you say, to go away Come not back to a land to say grace Turn not Allah away from Yahweh So if you must always pull a long face Pull not a gun to make him do as you say Pay him the rent you owe, ne'er him displace Share and share alike none will you slay Yet if you must pull a long face At some kin on whom you prey You should really fear losing face For, from you, the World'll turn away © T.
