If We Were a Song
If we were a new hit song,
How would our melody go?
Would it start with an awesome rhythm?
Building momentum as it grows?
Will it be soft and subtle?
Or rocking metal with a beat?
Will it be a long introduction?
Anticipation tapping your feet.
But based on us it will be great!
We only settle for the best.
Fine tuning with our songs,
We don't settle for anything less.
We like to rock it loud and hard.
Just like we do as friends.
Full-on and heavy with passion.
Keep it rocking till the end.
It's got to have great drum beats.
And guitars that talk to the soul.
A strong voice has to sing the story.
It forms together rock n roll.
The ending can't be too harsh.
You don't want it to end at all.
So the lead out must be gentle.
Leaving it open for a chant encore.
