If I Sin With Good Intention

If I sin with good intention,
Will God forgive at half the price?
Will I receive half of heaven
Or hell for my warranted vice?

What if I stole to feed my kid?
Am I doomed to hot detention
If I sin with good intention?
I sure hope not—heaven forbid!

Would I live in heaven’s ghetto
If I sin with good intention,
Or would my hell be half as hot?
Oh wait, I forgot to mention,

What if I kill in self defense
Or take a half of temptation?
Would He not love me any less
If I sin with good intention?

GREAT question, Mike. I do believe you can kill in self defense. and if I absolutely had to, I would steal food for my starving children. And in the end, I would hope to end up in a place where those "sins" would be understood. Luv, Andrea

He loves you and I no matter what ...The question is to everyone is "Do you love him"? Does it hurt in your Spirit when you do wrong and do you want to immediately repent and set things right? Sin is sin no matter is it is minor or major...God loves us and wants that love and relationship back..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..I am glad that I clicked on this one...Sara
