If I Should Die

If I Should Die
When the autumn leaves
Are trampled underfoot
When the earth is cold and bare
And the sky is overcast and grey,
If all that I possess in life
Precious loved ones and dear friends
All memory, laughter, song and dance
Are overcome by grief and sorrow
In the end,
Think not that I am gone forever
But only for a brief moment
We have parted company,
To meet again for all eternity.

Well written. Happy thoughts about the afterlife. The soul does not die. Where it ends up is another story. Panagiota xx

What a lovely sentiment, and an easy ease into the next life, the better ones.
