If I knew you when…
The world would be a perfect place
Where laughter like wind chimes
Carry upon the winds
To sail into forevermore
If I knew you when….
This heart had yet to be sung
Inspired by effortless love
With no maneuverings
No plots nor schemes
If I knew you when…
The world would be a perfect place
Where all the mundane would bring joy
Where eyes reflect no shades of untruth
Spoken with a mercurial tongue
If I knew you when…
The days were as fresh as morning dew
Rising to meet the golden sun
Dissolving shadows of the night..
