the best laid plans so they say sometimes they might go the wrong way things didn't go as they were planned somebody hold my hand i spent some time in hatching plots i wanted to call all the shots but i don't need the world at my command i just want someone to hold my hand i hoped that i would never stop at least until i reached the top but i don't need to be so grand i just need someone to hold my hand everything i ever loved was lost what i thought was mine all tossed flowing through my fingers like sand i need to hold somebody's hand at times it seemed there was always rain and more and more of too much pain maybe those things i could withstand if i could hold somebody's hand ever since i was a confused youth i've tried but never known the truth i wouldn't need to understand if i could hold somebody's hand

A wonderful yet sad write/story. When you don't look we find the right person. Have a great and blessed day writing away....................

Yes, it's funny how love sometimes appears when you're not looking.

I love this poem! Great job! It truly resonates with an internal struggle and a feeling of loneliness.
