If I Could
If I could pick a flower for you, the brightest I’d try to find
If I could capture time for us, the clock I’d like to unwind
Our moment could last forever, just as we want it to be
If I could stop the river a minute from moving to the sea,
I’d kiss the water, then move it along and send it on its way
Knowing as time ticks, it will reach you on the beach one day
