I am the voice : of conscience cry
I am the picture : in inspiration's eye
I am the thought : from which me flee
I am the truth : few seldom see
I am the guide : through this world's maze
I am the counsel : in life's despair
I am your witness : who but I
Prompt sin-filled hearts to confess
