Iceberg
Iceberg
Emanating from below the surface
iceberg flotillas in frozen zone--
every shaft a shimmering face,
immense, sharp and wind-blown.
Obelisk splits arctic horizon--icy bone.
Note: This form, called the EIEIO, is based on the English
Quintain and is my own invention. I have taught
this form to 12 other poets, and we had our EIEIOs
published in several different chapbooks edited by
me. Carol Louise Moon
