Sometimes I reflect on why I write poetry; especially rhyming. I find it forces me to really understand what I'm trying to say. To keep the flow, and meter, the words to select are few. Hope you enjoy and relate to what I write.

I Write About By Franklin Price 8/24/2016 I write about most everything Things we say and do Things that we all think about Food for thought for me and you You don't have feel the same Although that would be fun Just want to get you thinking Then maybe both of us have won Don't climb much on a soap box Try to give an overview Unlike the slanted media I'm trying something new No subject is verboten These are things I need to write Sometimes they wake me early Or they keep me up at night People and, things I care about As I travel through my days If I dwell some on subject I'm just going through a phase I love it when you comment And either do or not agree I'm just happy that you read my write And thought enough to write to me
