I Wonder What the World Would Do
I wonder what the world would do
If it were left to me and you
To sit together and decide
Should it be frozen or quick fried?
If somehow we were made to shed
The talking points within our head
To listen to the other side
Assuming they had naught to hide.
See that the gap ‘tween young and old
Runs deeper than the stories told
That passion Is the flaming torch
Of burning tongues that loudly scorch
The very earth we wish to save
If only we could learn to brave
All voices though they seem off key
Because they don’t agree with me.
