I Wish I Was
I'd go gallivanting to far away places
on the wings of freedom, nonchalant
I'd put smiles on peoples faces
share the color of my wings
and all the beauty I possess...
I'd don the coat of ecstasy and fly
jot each spot I deem unique
make each flower artistry
of beauty and finesse
then share my secret rendezvous...
I'd be precarious next to none despite
the closing of the morning light
I'd trim my median wings respite
upon the largest tree with glee
then soft acquiesce to night's duress .
