I Wish I Had the Balls To Tell Them How I Really Felt

To the guy who saw me carrying packages galore, who swiftly stepped in front of me and didn’t hold the door. . . To the girl in front of me whose cart was filled with food, who saw me with ONE item, yet kept her spot (so rude). . . To the people who won’t take my calls or even phone me back when I really need to talk with them (what courtesy they lack) . . . To workers in charge of urgent service I require, who brush me off, rip me off or imply I’m a liar. . . To people with no patience or any sympathy for those like me who sometimes struggle with technology. . . To those who harbor prejudice, whose hearts no one can melt, I wish I had the balls to tell them how I really felt. Haven't we all had that wish, at times? Enjoyable poem, your couplets are happily skipping along

It always amazes me how people can be so rude and inconsiderate when it takes no time or effort to be courteous, perhaps they weren't raised very well. Best of luck in the contest. John

Ha ha, this one added a bit of fun to my morning. I’m sure your husband is pleased with your lack of balls!

The truth hurts, but we as socialized beings, let them continue to be rude and crude. Nicely written as usual, Andrea. Fun to read.

Not sure how immediate that would be, Rico. Anyway, I try not to be the kind of people I am discussing here. I hope I get some brownie points for that.

But Andrea....if we stopped to tell them all "how we felt" we'd never get anywhere on time.....Nice take on the theme.

thanks, I have actually told some medical people recently how I felt about the PROLIA they forced on me two years ago and which is having miserable side effects on me. No more injections of poison into my arm when the bi-annual time for it comes up. Regardless of what my doctor says.
